Assessment of Parkinson’s Disease Based on Acoustic Analysis of Hypokinetic Dysarthria

Hypokinetická dysartrie (HD) je častým symptomem vyskytujícím se až u 90% pacientů trpících idiopatickou Parkinsonovou nemocí (PN), která výrazně přispívá k nepřirozenosti a nesrozumitelnosti řeči těchto pacientů. Hlavním cílem této disertační práce je prozkoumat možnosti použití kvantitativní paraklinické analýzy HD, s použitím parametrizace řeči, statistického zpracování a strojového učení, za účelem diagnózy a objektivního hodnocení PN. Tato práce dokazuje, že počítačová akustická analýza je schopná dostatečně popsat HD, speciálně tzv. dysprozodii, která se projevuje nedokonalou intonací a nepřirozeným tempem řeči. Navíc také dokazuje, že použití klinicky interpretovatelných akustických parametrů kvantifikujících různé aspekty HD, jako jsou fonace, artikulace a prozodie, může být použito k objektivnímu posouzení závažnosti motorických a nemotorických symptomů vyskytujících se u pacientů s PN. Dále tato práce prezentuje výzkum společných patofyziologických mechanizmů stojících za HD a zárazy v chůzi při PN. Nakonec tato práce dokazuje, že akustická analýza HD může být použita pro odhad progrese zárazů v chůzi v horizontu dvou let.

Analýza poptávky po Vyškovském pivu jako regionálním produktu

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the demand for Vyškovsku beer as a regional product. The theoretical part deals with the interpretation of the history of beer and its production, historical and current development of the brewery Vyškov, characteristic of the district Vyškov, marketing research and statistical summary. The practical part is elaborated on the basis of marketing research, which was evaluated from data collected through two surveys. The first one focuses on the preferences of potential consumers, and the second is for operators of restaurants in the district Vyškov. The results of the survey were evaluated based on statistical methods.

Bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the quality of life in the ORP Česká Třebová. The thesis analyzes the current state of the satisfaction of the population of the municipality with extended powers with quality of life. Literary report includes findings from professional literature concerning the issue of quality of life and focuses on explaining the basic concepts related to this issue. The overview, the basic concepts of marketing research and applied basic statistical methods. The practical part deals with statistical evaluation questionnaires and compared these results with selected indicators from the Czech Statistical Office. Results are determined using statistical methods, followed by comparing the facts and determine dependencies.

Title: Youth sports activities research in Ústí nad Orlicí Objecvive: The aim of study is to measure of usage of sports facilities by youth in Ústí nad Orlicí and their satisfaction with them. Subsequent interpretations of youth interests in sports. Methods: At theoretical part synthesis method will be used. The research itself will be based on quantitative method - interviewing. Respondents will be students of second grade of elementary schools and high schools in Ústí nad Orlicí. Results: A statistically processed results will be displayed using graphs and tables. Finally we can say city of Ústí nad Orlicí is a sports town because most of the children enjoy visiting sports facilities even during their leisure time. My bachelor thesis deals with marketing research which is focused on the interest of consumers of photographic services. I also examine what is the influence of various factors linked to photographic services as well as to ordinary live on the consumer. The aim of my thesis is to discover the opinion and preference of consumers. The bachelor thesis is divided into two main parts, the theoretical part and the statistical one. The theoretical part includes the statistical and marketing theory. The practical part is composed of my research, thus the collection of statistical information and its interpretation.

Faktory ovlivňující nákupy na aukčních portálech

Krulová, P., Factors influencing the purchases on auction portals. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2015. This thesis deals with the finding of the factors which influence the shopping on the auction portals. In the first theoretical part is summarized the theory of the e-commerce and its related auction portals. Afterwards the theoretical methods of marketing research and the basic statistical methods for data processing are de-scribed. In the second practical part the data of the survey is analysed and the results interpreted. Using the test of independence in the PivotTable, the factors which influence the purchases on the auction portals are determined. The conclu-sion summarizes the results of obtained work.

Statistické zpracování výzkumu zájmu o cykloturistiku a využití cyklotras na Blanensku

The thesis analyses the interest in cycling and using cycle routes that are located in the selected area. The reference area is Blansko District which includes the much visited and popular Moravian Karst. Cyclists can choose from a variety of trails that intersect this region. Part of the thesis includes also the marketing research which should show the popularity of cycling nowadays and the usage of the cycle routes. As research instruments are used questionnaires. The data are processed using appropriate statistical methods and then the analysis of results and its evaluation and interpretation follow.

Thesis consists of theoretical foundation which covers beer and its production, regional breweries and their products, marketing research and statistical processing. Marketing research was provided by questionnaire survey. The goal of research was to determine the preferences of the population in region. The evaluation was carried by using statistical methods and followed by comparing of the facts and their dependencies.
